Terms of Service
1. Scope of Services
We provide residential and light commercial fence installation, including materials and removal of old fencing (when specified in your quote). Please note: We are not responsible for surveying property lines, HOA approvals, or underground utilities beyond standard public locating services.
2. Estimates & Changes
Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of the quote. Hidden issues—such as rock, large roots, or unstable soil—may affect the final cost. Any change orders will be discussed and approved before we proceed.
3. Deposits & Payments
A deposit is required to secure your spot on our schedule and purchase materials. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the project. We accept major credit cards, checks, and digital payments.
4. Scheduling & Weather
Work schedules are our best estimates, not guarantees. North Carolina weather, material shortages, or local inspections can shift timelines. We promise to communicate any delays proactively.
5. Your Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth install, we ask that you provide clear access to the work area, secure all pets inside, clear personal items from the fence line, and confirm your property boundaries.
6. Property Conditions
Installing a fence is construction. Minor ground disturbance is normal, and work may impact nearby landscaping. Mighty Oak is not liable for unseen underground conditions or pre-existing structural issues.
7. Warranty & Liability
We stand by our work with a workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties apply to specific materials. Our liability is limited to the cost of services provided, and we are not responsible for weather-related damage or ground movement.
8. Disputes & Cancellations
We aim to resolve any issues in good faith. Cancellations must be made within the timeframe specified in your quote to protect your deposit. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
